We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Responsible Quantum in Practice workshop at IEEE Quantum Week 2026, taking place in September 2026 in Toronto.
As quantum technologies continue to advance toward commercialisation, there is growing recognition of the need for responsible, collaborative, and transparent approaches to quantum governance. This workshop aims to move discussions beyond principles and showcase practical examples of responsible quantum in action across research, governance, standards, education, and deployment.
The workshop will bring together interdisciplinary stakeholders from industry, academia, policymaking, standards bodies, and responsible technology research to discuss topics including responsible innovation, quantum standards, the role of international organisations, and national governance approaches.
Submissions of up to four pages are invited via the IEEE EasyChair platform.
