FQC 2026 — Foundations of Quantum Computing

NQCC will be participating in FQC 2026—the Fourth Conference on the Foundations of Quantum Computing – which will bring together researchers, students and industry practitioners to examine how foundational ideas can inform the development of practical quantum technologies. Held from 2–4 September 2026 at the UCL School of Management, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, the discussion-led programme will connect fundamental questions in quantum theory with emerging applications across quantum machine learning, artificial intelligence, logic, finance and drug discovery.

Speaker

Gerard Milburn – Quantum Fellow, NQCC

Wednesday, 2 September:

Topic: The Irony Trap Quantum Computer

Join us at FQC 2026 to exchange ideas, explore the latest advances and strengthen connections between foundational research and the practical development of quantum computing.
