The NQCC launches the call for applications for its annual event – UK Quantum Hackathon 2024

The third annual UK Quantum Hackathon, delivered by the National Quantum Computing Centre will take place at the University of Warwick from 22nd to 24th July 2024. The event is part of the NQCC’s SparQ programme, aimed at exploring and raising awareness of the current capabilities of quantum computing, nurturing the talent pipeline, and connecting stakeholders.

The event provides students and researchers with an opportunity to tackle real-world problems set by user organisations. Successful applicants will receive free accommodation and meals during the hackathon, and bursaries will also be available for travel within the UK for those eligible. You can apply as an individual, and if your application is successful, we will reach out to you at the beginning of June, ahead of allocating you to a hackathon team. We welcome applications from UK students and residents only. The applications will close by the end of 31st May 2024. Submit your application here.
