QCTiP 2024 Conference

We are excited to announce the Quantum Computing Theory in Practice (QCTiP) 2024 conference, hosted by the Quantum Software Lab at the University of Edinburgh. QCTiP 2024 will take place from the 16th to 18th of April, offering a unique opportunity for researchers to engage in discussions, share insights, and explore the latest advancements in quantum computing.

About QCTiP 2024: QCTiP24 comes at a time when quantum computing is undergoing remarkable progress. Quantum hardware performance is on the rise, and theoretical breakthroughs are bringing us closer to practical applications. Join us at the University of Edinburgh for a three-day conference featuring keynote speakers, invited talks, contributed talks from academia and industry, a poster session, and a stimulating industry panel discussion.

Call for Submissions: Contributed talks are now open for submissions. Talks will be selected based on scientific excellence, alignment with the workshop’s theme, and program balance. Submissions should correspond to recent research contributions in quantum information and computation. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Applications of quantum computers
  • Architectures for quantum computing
  • Quantum algorithms
  • Quantum compilation and circuit optimization
  • Quantum error correction and fault tolerance
  • Digital and Analog Simulation of quantum systems
  • Theory of near-term quantum computing
  • Verification of quantum software and hardware
  • Error Mitigation and Benchmarking

Key Dates:

  • Submission deadline: 5th February 2024, 23:59 (CET). CLOSED
  • Decision notification: 5th March 2024
  • Registration deadline: 19th March 2024
