The NQCC Quantum Applications Showcase will bring together project teams, industry partners, government stakeholders, and invited members of the wider innovation community to highlight the progress and impact of the NQCC’s industrially relevant collaborative R&D (cR&D) portfolio.
Taking place on 5 June 2025 at Harwell Campus, this event will highlight the diverse and growing range of application-focused quantum projects supported through the NQCC’s Proof of Concept and Feasibility Studies calls. These projects represent the NQCC’s commitment to accelerating the development of real-world quantum use cases across key sectors of the UK economy.
The participation in this event is by invitation only.
Participants will:
• Hear from funded project teams through short lightning talks
• Explore cross-sector quantum applications spanning sectors such as healthcare, energy, logistics, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and materials
• Connect with leaders from academia, industry, and government
• Gain early insight into emerging adoption pathways for quantum computing.
The event will feature a mix of presentations, networking opportunities, and the launch of the NQCC’s SparQ Quantum Computing Use Case Compendium, which documents the outcomes and ambitions of the NQCC’s SparQ programme – designed to build national readiness for quantum computing- enabled innovation.
