SparQ provides end-users with an opportunity to work with emerging quantum algorithms and hardware, allowing them to build their quantum skill-sets and gain an understanding of the current and future capabilities of quantum computers.
The SparQ programme seeks to assist companies and organisations on the journey from ‘Awareness to Advocacy’. Awareness is the catalysis for engagement. Engagement allows exploration and evaluation. Successful evaluation lays the foundations for business cases, and ultimately enables internal action and advocacy.

In support of this journey, the NQCC can offer access to quantum computing resources, a sector-specific perspective, and application engineering expertise to explore use cases and appraise applications. The NQCC can provide this support to UK entities in a variety of contexts, including direct collaboration, or through participation in a consortium convened for a funded research proposal.
